Boltenmühle Restaurant is located in one of
northern Brandenburg’s most scenic natural landscapes.

the Binenbach valley, the historic mill complex invites you to

views of the surrounding greenery.
The cosy dining rooms also offer a pleasant place to stop
after a hike or cycle ride.
The former mill site has retained its original character.

The combination of nature, regional cuisine and
historic atmosphere makes it a popular destination.
History and special features
The history of Boltenmühle dates back to the early 18th century.
The foundations for the mill site on the Binenbach were laid as early as 1718.
Over the following decades, the complex developed into a watermill and sawmill.
Over time, ownership changed and
the mill’s economic importance declined.
During the 20th century, Boltenmühle increasingly became
a destination for day trips and recreation.
A major setback came with the fire in June 1992,
which destroyed the historic building.
It was subsequently rebuilt in keeping with its historic model.
The country restaurant reopened at Whitsun 1996.
Today, Boltenmühle combines its long history with a restaurant,
accommodation and further services for holidaymakers and day visitors.
Its special features include its immediate woodland setting,
its proximity to Lake Tornow, the Binenbach and
its historic links to milling.
