This cycling tour connects the Dammkrug near Neuruppin with Fehrbellin and Protzen and takes you through the wide-open landscape of the Rhinluch.
From Dammkrug the route initially heads towards Fehrbellin. It crosses the Wustrauer Rhin and follows a course almost parallel to the K6801 for long stretches. The open landscape of meadows, fields, ditches and waterways defines this part of the tour.
Fehrbellin lies south of Neuruppin, at the transition between the Rhinluch and Ländchen Bellin. The village and its surroundings have been closely connected with the Rhin and the drainage of the marshland for centuries.
From Fehrbellin the tour continues along Lentzker Straße. It then follows Mühlenweg into a landscape criss-crossed by numerous waterways.
Further along, the route crosses the Rhinkanal, the Große Schleusengraben and the Rhingraben. This section in particular conveys a vivid impression of the distinctive landscape of the Rhinluch with its extensive network of canals and drainage ditches.
Finally, the route reaches Protzen, a district of the municipality of Fehrbellin. The route can also be ridden just as easily in the opposite direction.

A large part of the route runs near or parallel to the K6801. Take particular care around road crossings and access roads, where you should watch out for vehicles.
Between Fehrbellin and Protzen the tour includes sections along Lentzker Straße and Mühlenweg. Several waterways and canals of the Rhinluch are crossed along the way.
After prolonged periods of rain, individual sections may be wet or muddy. Actual rideability may also vary due to agricultural traffic and seasonal conditions.
